Once reserved exclusively for royalty, the "Forbidden Rice" is now available for your breakfast table. Ankuraa’s Black Rice Dosa Mix transforms this ancient superfood (Karuppu Kavuni) into a crispy, savory crepe that is as stunning to look at as it is to eat. Known for its deep purple hue and nutty flavor, we’ve blended this royal grain with protein-rich Urad Dal and a touch of Flattened Rice (Poha). This ensures your dosas are light, airy, and perfectly crisp—never heavy or soggy.
Why should you buy it? It’s the most delicious way to swap out refined white carbohydrates for a nutrient-dense powerhouse.
Antioxidant Powerhouse: Black Rice is loaded with Anthocyanins—the same powerful antioxidants found in blueberries that support immunity.
Royal Nutrition: Traditionally known as "Emperor’s Rice," it offers superior health benefits and longevity properties compared to standard grains.
Texture Perfection: The addition of Poha ensures the dosa turns out golden-crisp on the edges while remaining soft in the center.
Heart Healthy: High in fiber and phytonutrients that support better cholesterol levels.

Directions to Use:
Mix: Take the required quantity of mix in a bowl. Add water (and a little curd/yogurt for extra tang) to make a smooth, pouring-consistency batter.
Rest: Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes to allow the grains to soften and the flavors to meld.
Pour: Heat a non-stick tawa or cast-iron griddle. Pour a ladle of batter and spread it into a thin circle.
Cook: Drizzle a teaspoon of oil or ghee around the edges. Cook until the bottom turns a deep, crispy brown.
Serve: Serve hot with Coconut Chutney, Tomato Chutney, or Sambar.
